Brown Group Sells Off Recreational Divisions

Brown Group Inc. Chairman B.A. Bridgewater Jr. said that Brown Group sold its remaining recreational products companies to Jepson industries of Chicago.

The sale included Hedstrom Co., a producer of bicycles and play-yard equipment, and Gerry, a ski-wear, western wear.
