Brown Group Sells Off Recreational Divisions

ST. LOUIS — Brown Group Inc. Chairman B.A. Bridgewater Jr. said that Brown Group sold its remaining recreational products companies to Jepson industries of Chicago.
The sale included Hedstrom Co., a producer of bicycles and play-yard equipment, and Gerry, a ski-wear, western wear.
