Share

An Ethnic Resources Directory, a free guide to 70 agencies and community groups in Orange County, will be available in July, according to the publisher, the Santiago Library System. “As far as we can determine, it is the first directory of its kind that pulls together information on so many ethnic agencies,” said Christine Vasquez, the system director. She said it would be updated annually.

The directory includes groups or agencies whose membership or main emphasis is Latino, Asian, black American or American Indian. Agencies, public libraries and minority newspapers are listed alphabetically. Information includes the type of agency and names of representatives for each organization, Vasquez said. Only nonprofit organizations are listed. The Ethnic Resources Directory will be available at all public libraries or by writing to the Santiago Library System, 431 The City Drive South, Orange, Calif. 92668.

The Santiago Library System consists of nine city libraries and the Orange County Library.
