American Businessphones Inc. of Irvine’s common stock...

American Businessphones Inc. of Irvine’s common stock has been listed on the NASDAQ National Market System, according to Frank Feitz, chairman and president of the company.

The company’s stock was included in the NASDAQ expansion that became effective Tuesday.

American Businessphones, which sells, installs and maintains telephone systems for businesses, recently reported that earnings for the first nine months of the 1985 fiscal year increased 85% to $666,763. Revenues for the three quarters rose 87% to $11.4 million.

General Automation Inc. of Anaheim has completed the sale of its National Technology printed circuit board division to Helix Circuits Inc. of Toronto.

Terms of the sale were not disclosed, but earlier this year one analyst estimated the value of the deal to be $5 million. National Technology currently has sales of about $20 million annually.

General Automation Chairman Leonard N. MacKenzie said his company will use the proceeds of the sales to reduce long-term debt and to support marketing and product-development plans for its Zebra family of personal business computers.
