Police Competence Urged

MEXICO CITY —
Atty. Gen. Sergio Garcia Ramirez says that Mexico needs a police force that is “clean and dignified” and not incompetent, mercenary or misguided. Addressing a group of police academy graduates Thursday, Ramirez urged his listeners to “be the policemen you yourselves would want at your service if you were not members of the force.”
