President’s Tax Proposals
The Reagan tax “reform” plan may look good on the surface, but I have grave reservations about it?
First off, when the Republican Party, and especially Ronald Reagan, claims to be helping the working class they working class had better keep their hands on their wallets.
The proposals appear to reward gambling in the stock market while discouraging investment in labor-intensive industries, and promoting low-paying industries such as fast-food joints.
It also must be noted that the big gainers are those with incomes more than $200,000 (of which Reagan himself, coincidentally of course, is one). I say thanks, but no thanks to this latest shell game by the Reagan Administration.
