San Fernando Valley Plant Wins Award
The Donald C. Tillman water reclamation and wastewater treatment plant in Van Nuys has garnered a grand award for its architect in the 18th Engineering Excellence competition of the American Consulting Engineers Council.
Daniel, Mann, Johnson & Mendenhall, Los Angeles, collaborated on the design of the Sepulveda Basin facility, which is surrounded by a 6 1/2-acre Japanese garden, with the Los Angeles Department of Public Works.
