Arthur Walker, brother of accused Soviet spy John A. Walker Jr., today was ordered held without bail on an espionage charge. U.S. Magistrate Gilbert Swink sent Arthur Walker’s case to a federal grand jury meeting Monday.

FBI agent Beverly Andress testified at the bail hearing that John Walker urged Arthur to get a job that would give him access to classified material that could be delivered to the Soviet Union, and Arthur admitted receiving $12,000 for handing over classified documents from his defense contractor employer, VSE Corp.
