The City Council has awarded a contract for the design of a community center to the architectural firm of Wolf, Lang and Christopher, City Administrator Byron Woosley said.
Over several years, the city has saved $750,000 in federal funds for the project from Community Development Block Grants, Woosley said. The center will be north of City Hall in Treder Park. Construction is expected to begin within four to six months, Woosley said.
