Four Principals Chosen: Four new principals were chosen this week for Irvine elementary schools. The school board, selecting from nearly 100 candidates, chose Dorothea Maas to be principal at Bonita Canyon Elementary School, Sharon DeNisi at East Shore Elementary School, Craig Ritter at University Park Elementary School and Lynn Bogart at Alderwood Basic School. Maas and Ritter are both longtime employees of the Irvine Unified School District, while DeNisi and Bogart come from other Orange County school systems. The jobs pay between $37,573 and $45,715 a year.
