A 24-year-old San Diego man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of murder in the death of a man found beaten and shot in Ramona earlier this month. Sheriff’s Department spokesmen said Michael Ray Forrester, 24, was detained at a San Diego residence at 7:23 a.m. in connection with the June 2 killing of Ronald Lowery Clevenger, 22, of San Diego. Clevenger’s body was found in brush off California 67. The spokesmen said evidence gathered at the scene led them to Louisiana Street, where they arrested Forrester. Forrester was booked on suspicion of murder, possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. He was being held at the County Jail downtown.
