2nd Suspect Jailed in Burger King Bombing
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a second suspect in connection with a bombing at an Agoura Burger King restaurant Thursday, a sheriff’s department spokeswoman said.
Roderick Fenton, 19, of North Hollywood was arrested Thursday in Agoura after a pipe bomb caused $8,000 damage to the drive-through window at the Burger King franchise on Roadside Drive, Sheriff’s Deputy Lynda Edmonds said.
Fenton was described as a friend of Allan Glass, 21, of Agoura Hills, who was arrested in the parking lot of the restaurant soon after the 2 a.m. explosion. Glass, 21, a former assistant manager at the Burger King, had threatened to bomb the restaurant after he was fired seven months ago, Edmonds said.
Both suspects were jailed in lieu of $60,000 bail at the sheriff’s Malibu substation, where they were booked for wrongful detonation of an explosive device, Edmonds said.
