Agency Reports Drop in Saskatchewan Farm Loans

REGINA, Canada —
Saskatchewan farmers, expecting to see their earnings drop, knocked less often on Farm Credit Corp.’s door for expansion financing last year.
In a year-end summary, the corporation reported its loan approvals in Saskatchewan tumbled to 969 from 2,200 for its 1983-84 fiscal year.
