The annual Newport Beach Collector Car Auction, traditionally held over the July 4 weekend, has changed time and location this year. The auction is to be held July 12-14 at the Newporter hotel, 1107 Jamboree Road. More than 500 cars are to be auctioned, including a Porsche and a Jaguar that belonged San Diego businessman J. David Dominelli. A public preview is to be held at 9 a.m. each day of the event, with the auction scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

BDT Products Inc. of Irvine has been awarded a contract, valued at $312,000 by the federal General Services Administration, to sell automatic sheet feeders to U.S. government installations, said Richard Given, vice president of sales. The machines feed stationery and envelopes into the printers of word processors and collate the finished letters and envelopes.
