The TWA Employees Committee said early returns on a questionnaire sent to 29,000 Trans World Airlines employees indicated that union and non-union personnel oppose Texas Air Corp.’s proposed $793.5-million takeover. A spokesman said the committee would continue to “aggressively” pursue a buy-out of the airline by employees. Meanwhile, Moody’s Investors Service said it is reviewing the long-term debt and preferred stock ratings of TWA for possible downgrading because of the pending Texas Air merger.
