Coast Schools Outline Plans

Share

We at Coast Christian Schools felt that it would be wise to inform your readership as to our position and plans regarding the leasing of the Fulton Elementary property in Redondo Beach. Our purpose here is not to rehash old details or voice our views, but rather to explain who we are and what our intentions have been.

This fall will represent our eighth year of continuous operation in the South Bay. The last four of those have been at 850 Inglewood Ave. in Redondo Beach. That facility currently houses a preschool, kindergarten, elementary school and high school (grades 7-12).

During recent semesters, our school has grown to the point where expansion space is needed; without it, we would soon be forced to begin turning students away. When the Redondo Beach School District announced the bid opening for the property located at the Fulton Elementary site, we decided to respond. We were the high bidder and were subsequently awarded the lease. Accordingly, we plan to move into the Fulton facility as of Aug. 1, 1985. Our intent at that time is to offer infant care, preschool and kindergarten, along with first and second grades, as well as extended care hours for those children who need it.

Since 1977, Coast Christian Schools have been committed to developing in students those character qualities that will strengthen their love for God, their country, their community and their flag. We are hopeful of providing the same high quality care and education at the Fulton campus.
