Television producer Harry Ackerman will be awarded a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame in ceremonies starting at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Ackerman, who supervised production on such early television programs as “The Jack Benny Show” and “Burns and Allen,” will be given a star at 6661 1/2 Hollywood Blvd., between stars awarded to Peter Donald and Douglas Fairbanks Jr.
