Air-Conditioning, Heating Firms Cited for Service

Indoor Comfort News magazine has honored 10 heating and air-conditioning firms with lifetime achievement awards.

More than 300 industry leaders joined John Grigas, vice president of the Institute of Heating and Air Conditioning Industries--the magazine’s owner, in honoring the 10 recipients.

Accepting awards were American Metal Products, Carrier-Southern California, Haldeman Inc., George T. Hall Co., Honeywell Inc., Lennox Industries, Magic Chef Air Conditioning, Smallcomb Electric Co. and Reliable Steel Supply, a division of Bell Industries.

The awards were presented at the magazine’s 30th anniversary celebration held at the Los Angeles Hilton.
