Copper Canyon Tour

After reading Sharon Dirlam’s article on the trip to Copper Canyon, Mexico (Dec. 9, 1984), escorted by Bob Hornstein of Global Adventures, we joined one of the tours in late April. There were 14 on the trip, including Bob, who did a fantastic job and was a tremendous help as he knows the language so well.

Our accommodations were very good, the food far better than we expected, the trip to La Bufa spectacular as was the train trip from Creel to Los Mochis. Alamos, of course, was a great treat for an ending to a special time. We were extended great courtesy and help when needed by the people in Mexico. It is too bad that a few at the border have made that beautiful country a place to avoid.
