San Marcos
A 2,800-foot section of Rancho Santa Fe Road near Lake San Marcos will be realigned beginning in September, according to county road officials. The “Dead Man’s Curve” section of the highway has been the site of numerous accidents. Cost of the project--between Redwing Street and Via Alondra--is $600,000 to $760,000.
