H. J. Heinz reported record fiscal-year profits of $265.9 million, up 11.9% from a year earlier. The Pittsburgh-based company said net income for the fourth quarter ended May 1 rose 8.7% over the comparable 1984 period. Sales volume increased nearly 6% over the year, but the figure was offset by $200 million due to declining exchange rates, the company said.
