A group of seven California television stations, banded together under the name California Lottery Network, are vying for the opportunity to broadcast live jackpot drawings of the state lottery this fall. The stations, representing five major California markets, are XETV Channel 6, San Diego; KTTV Channel 11, Los Angeles; KMPH Channel 26, Fresno-Visalia; KTXL Channel 40, Sacramento-Stockton; KTVU Channel 2, Oakland; KRCR Channel 7, Chico-Redding, and KIEM Channel 3, Eureka. Lottery director M. Mark Michalko has appointed three more top aides to his staff: William J. Seaton, director of public affairs; Jamie Bailey, deputy director for game operations, and Llewellis E. Ritter, deputy director for security.
