Comecon Talks Begin

Polish Premier Wojciech Jaruzelski on Tuesday opened a three-day session of Comecon, the Soviet Bloc’s economic grouping, with a call for more economic cooperation among Communist countries. With Premier Nikolai A. Tikhonov leading the Soviet delegation, representatives of East European countries are debating coordination of economic plans for the next 20 years, Poland’s official news agency said.
