Share

According to a study released by Korn/Ferry International, demand for senior managers during the second quarter of 1985 was as strong as it was in the second half of 1984 and the first quarter of this year. However, it fell 6% short of the record-breaking levels that it reached in the second quarter of last year at the peak of the economic recovery. The index also recorded significant changes in hiring trends by industry. Executive hiring increased in real estate, energy, electronics, retailing and health care but declined in financial services, consumer products and manufacturing.
