The San Diego Police Department has requested the public’s help in locating two men suspected of killing a convenience store clerk June 1 during an early-morning robbery in East San Diego.
The suspects, both black and both believed to be armed with pistols, entered the Arco AM-PM Mini Mart at 6098 University Ave. shortly after 2:50 a.m., according to witnesses. The two men are believed to have beaten and then shot the clerk, Fred Joseph Harb, 49, before fleeing on foot with a small amount of cash.
Individuals with information can receive as much as $1,000 in reward money by telephoning the Police Department anonymously at 235-TIPS.
