Falling Bar Kills Child: A 3-year-old Cypress girl has died of head injuries after a large portable cocktail bar fell on her, officers said Wednesday. Police Sgt. Jim Weuve said Crystal Lee Litterell was playing in the living room of her home in the 9100 block of Walker Street about 6:20 p.m. Tuesday when she somehow managed to cause a 232-pound wooden bar to fall. Her mother, Tamara, was in another room at the time and heard the falling furniture, he said. The child was taken to La Palma Intercommunity Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival, Weuve said, adding that the incident is being investigated as an accident
