A federal grand jury in Baltimore has indicted 13 people believed to be involved in a San Francisco-based LSD distribution ring that authorities say could be one of the largest in the nation. Daniel L. Sander and Janus High, both 36, owners of a Baltimore cafe, were allegedly the principal dealers of the hallucinogen in the Baltimore area and have been arrested, according to Special Agent Robert J. O’Leary of the federal Drug Enforcement Administration. He described the pair as having “an almost unlimited source (of the drug) in California.” Other distribution points were believed to be New York, San Francisco and somewhere in the Midwest.
