Mario Cuomo said he will study the bill before deciding whether to sign it. Turner Broadcasting System issued a statement vowing to file suit challenging the constitutionality of the law if the governor signs it. Turner Broadcasting also urged the governor to consider an amendment to prevent the law from applying to any transactions already under way when the law takes effect.
