Valle de Oro Bank will acquire the Bank of America branch at Sweetwater Road and Jamacha Boulevard in Spring Valley on Sept. 2.

Medical Imaging Centers of America has acquired the general partner interest of MR of Kansas City, an outpatient radiology center, for an undisclosed amount of cash and stock. Medical Imaging also bought Health Perceptions, a medical consulting firm based in Kansas City.

First National Bank of North County agreed to acquire Union Bank’s $15-million-deposit branch office in San Marcos. Bank officials said the agreement, which is subject to regulatory approval, should be completed by the end of this year.

Biomagnetic Technologies President and Chief Executive Stephen O. James said the company has arranged $5.2 million in equity financing, most of which will be spent to further develop an instrument used to “provide a non-invasive, risk-free, real-time assessment of brain function.”
