Death Row Inmate Asks That Appeals Be Ended

HUNTSVILLE, Tex. —
A Death Row inmate facing execution Tuesday has asked that no further appeals be made because he has made peace with himself, his attorney said Friday.
Henry Martinez Porter, 43, is to die by injection for the Nov. 29, 1975, shooting death of a Fort Worth police officer, attorney A. Deniz Tor said.
