Contel to Occupy New Towers in Bakersfield

Contel Service Corp. has signed a 15-year, $32.5-million lease for about 100,000 square feet in the California Twin Centre in Bakersfield, according to Carver Development, Newport Beach-based developer of the twin four-story office towers.
Contel plans to relocate its western regional headquarters from northwest Bakersfield to the new development at 4900 California Ave., which will be renamed as Contel Centre.
