The Dutch Harbor plant was sold to Washington-based Universal Seafoods for undisclosed terms. The sale completes the divestiture of San Francisco-based Amfac’s seafood operations. The divestiture began in 1982, when its food group began to sell off its Pacific Pearl Seafoods assets. The Dutch Harbor plant was the last remaining facility of the seafood operations.
