Liked St. Wolfgang

In the article Jerry Hulse wrote on Jan. 30, 1983, we were quite taken with his description of St. Wolfgang, Austria, and vowed to go there sometime. My husband was with the U.S. Army in Germany in 1952 and we fell in love with the zither.

We recently returned from a lovely trip to Germany and Austria. Spent four nights in St. Wolfgang and went to hear Karl Haas play the zither every night (he remembers Jerry--I showed him the article and he was very pleased). Also enjoyed the band concert in the town square on Saturday night.

St. Wolfgang is truly everything Jerry said, and more. We can hardly wait to go back. If we hadn’t seen Jerry’s article we would probably never have found the delightful St. Wolfgang.
