From Reuters
MANAGUA, Nicaragua —
Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega, head of the leftist Sandinista government accused by the United States of being the source of all evil in Central America, has sent President Reagan a get-well message, Ortega’s office announced Sunday.
A telex to the White House read: “Mr. President, in my name and that of the government of Nicaragua, I offer my best wishes for your speedy recovery. Attentively, Daniel Ortega.”
