Big Soviet Fleet Exercise Hinted

COPENHAGEN —
Twenty-one Soviet warships have passed through waters off Denmark, evidently on their way to what appeared to be large exercises in the Atlantic, Danish defense officials said today.
They said the vessels, including six submarines and the nuclear missile cruiser Grozny, belong to the Soviet Baltic fleet. The number of Soviet ships moving out from the Baltic was regarded as exceptionally large, and the movement was closely watched by Danish intelligence.
