A man who admitted that he planned to kill President Reagan was placed on probation for five years. Alfred Marvin Walker, 52, of Aberdeen, S.D., was ordered to spend 60 days in Turning Point, a drug rehabilitation program, and participate in mental health counseling at the Veterans Administration at his own expense. Another condition imposed by U.S. District Court Judge M.D. Crocker in Fresno requires Walker to participate in a program of voluntary service or a shelter workshop.
