Carson
Paul B. Clark, a Carson employee for 16 years and former director of public information, died on July 8 after a nine-month bout with cancer.
Clark, 58, served as Carson public information director for more than 10 years and was the only person who ever held that position. He retired last April because of his illness.
He previously worked for the city’s Department of Parks and Recreation as a community events supervisor.
Services for Clark, a resident of Malibu, were held last week in Santa Monica. He is survived by his wife, Anita, his daughter, Shawn, and his son, Craig.
