Residents who want to run for city council in Rancho Palos Verdes or Rolling Hills Estates municipal elections on Nov. 5 may pick up candidate papers at their respective city halls. The deadline for filing is Aug. 9.
There are two council seats at stake in each city.
Rancho Palos Verdes council members Robert Ryan and Jacki Bacharach have announced their intentions to seek reelection.
Rolling Hills Estates Councilwoman Nell Mirels and Mayor Jerome Belsky both have said they will run for reelection. Council members receive no salary.
