5 Kurdish Rebels Killed

ANKARA, Turkey —
Government troops have killed five Kurdish separatist guerrillas in a clash in the east of the country, the semi-official Anatolian news agency said Thursday. The agency quoted officials in Bitlis province as saying that the clash occurred as troops were searching near a village called Bagarasi. It did not say when it took place.
