LIFTED UP
Amy Grant is a breath of fresh air in a music world polluted by the likes of Madonna, Boy George and Prince (sorry Robert Hilburn) (“Spreading the Word on Christian Pop,” by Chris Willman, July 7). She has started the pendulum swinging in the opposite direction.
I am bored to tears with all of the songs about sex, violence and party like there’s no tomorrow. I want to be uplifted, not pushed into the pit of animal passions.
