Hurricane Warning in S. Carolina

MIAMI —
Tropical storm Bob, packing 70-m.p.h. winds, left soggy Florida today and roared up the Atlantic on a path toward South Carolina. Forecasters warned that the storm could strike land with hurricane force.
A hurricane watch was issued for Georgia and South Carolina at noon and forecasters predicted that the storm would hit South Carolina’s coast tonight.
