Uganda Grenades Kill 5

KAMPALA, Uganda —
Five people were killed and 30 badly wounded when two hand grenades were thrown into a crowd at a political rally at Kitgum, in northern Uganda, the newspaper New Nation reported Thursday. It said the local member of Parliament, Bosco Oryem, a member of the ruling Uganda People’s Congress, who was addressing the meeting, escaped unhurt.
