Abortion Bomber Gets 15 Years

BALTIMORE —
A roofing contractor was sentenced today to 15 years in prison for his role in the bombing of 10 abortion clinics or the offices of abortion supporters in three states and the District of Columbia.
Thomas E. Spinks, 37, of Bowie was the last of three men to be sentenced in the bombings, which occurred in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Washington, D.C., between January, 1984, and January, 1985. No one was injured in the attacks.
