Northridge Fight Ends in Stabbing Death
A Northridge man was stabbed to death Friday afternoon in a doughnut shop after a fight in a neighboring restaurant, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
Rodrigo Ruiz, 27, was pronounced dead on arrival at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, police said.
Ruiz was involved in a fight with another man in a restaurant near Parthenia Street and Vanalden Avenue, police said. When the other man left, Ruiz went to the doughnut shop next door. The unidentified man returned 10 minutes later and stabbed Ruiz in the neck and fled, police said.
