Santa Ana
Freight Cars Derailed: About five freight cars of a railroad train derailed in Santa Ana Tuesday afternoon, but the accident neither caused injuries nor hampered auto traffic, Santa Ana police reported. Lt. Bob Jordan said the derailment, which occurred about 4:47 p.m., was on tracks near Orange and Adams streets. He said the derailed cars, however, were not at any street crossing and so motor vehicle traffic was not affected.
