Justice in Israel
Your editorial on unequal justice in Israel was so far off the mark that it calls for public apology. Where in the Arab world can you find a government that has prosecuted as terrorists those who designed violence against the state’s enemies?
The Jewish terrorists are not supported by any major Jewish constituencies, save Meir Kahane’s party and the fringe group of Gush Emunim. They were brought to trial and convicted at a time that Arab terrorists were let free from Israeli prisons. Instead of praising Israeli justice, you find it fit and proper to condemn the light sentence with nary a word against any Arab absence of prosecution of terrorism.
Where is your sense of equal justice?
