Ex-Tennessee Governor Loses Bid for Parole

WASHINGTON —

The commission, by a 4-1 vote, denied parole “because the offenses (Blanton) committed involved a pattern of corruption and multiple instances of bribery,” said Justice Department spokesman Joe Krovisky.
