NEW YORK — The American Bible Society reports 100 tons of special lightweight paper has arrived in Nanking, China, for the printing of 100,000 Chinese Bibles, expected to be ready before the end of 1985.
The paper was provided by the United Bible Societies through the Amity Foundation, set up as an international partnership last March by the China Christian Council for humanitarian programs.
