Annual Home & Garden Show Scheduled at Anaheim Center

The 31st annual Southern California Home & Garden Show will be held Saturday through Aug. 25 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
More than 600 exhibitors are expecting to participate in the show, which has been called the largest of its kind in the nation.
Sierra Log Homes will build a three-bedroom, two-story house from the ground up at the convention center, and it will be ready for viewing on opening day. There will also be a house displaying more than 30 construction and furnishing products made with vinyl, and there will be a video presentation on the build-it-yourself Tri-Steel Home Package.
In addition, manufactured and pre-cut homes, room additions, home improvements, kitchen remodeling, roofing, window treatments, security systems, solar heating, pools, spas, gardening and landscaping, interior decorating, cookware, pottery, planters, patio furniture, water filters and greenhouses will be on display.
The show will be open Monday through Thursday from 2 to 10 p.m., Friday from 2 to 11 p.m., Saturday from noon to 11 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. Admission is $4.95 for adults; $2.95 for children.
