NME said new enterprises will keep earnings flat.

Los Angeles-based National Medical Enterprises predicted that earnings for the first fiscal quarter ending Aug. 31 will only equal last year’s due to opening new hospitals and health plans. In the first fiscal quarter of 1985, the company reported restated earnings of $34.4 million on revenue of $586.5 million. NME said it expects annual earnings for fiscal 1986 to increase by 15% or more.
