Badham Scored in Drilling Battle : Jeffrey Perlman on Diversity
Alas! Jeffrey Perlman has committed the unpardonable--he has dared to suggest that diversity might be healthy, as well as practical for Orange County voters.
Now, as expected, he is being chastised by those same Republicans who voted Thomas Kuchel out of office when he had the power to help Orange County, replaced him with Max Rafferty and saw an arch enemy, Democrat Alan Cranston, elected. Orange County has a history of mediocrity in Washington with Utt, Rafferty, Schmitz and Dornan, to name a few.
Perlman not only offered some practical advice, he dared to test the First Amendment in the process. Congratulations!
